Epoxy Concrete Floor Coatings

​The epoxy floor coating process involves several key steps to ensure a durable and aesthetically pleasing surface. First, the concrete floor is thoroughly cleaned to remove dirt, grease, and any existing coatings. Next, any cracks or imperfections are repaired, and the surface may be ground or shot-blasted to provide better adhesion for the epoxy. Once prepared, a primer coat is applied to promote bonding. Following the primer, the epoxy resin is mixed and poured onto the floor, typically in two layers, allowing the first layer to cure before applying the second. Depending on the desired finish, decorative flakes, colors, or anti-slip additives may be sprinkled during this stage. Finally, a clear topcoat is applied for additional protection and shine, completing the process and ensuring a robust, long-lasting floor.
